The Centre was founded in 2000 by Latchman Narain, Ph.D. (see below) in an effort to address a dire need in the Markham-Scarborough and North York community. There are limited counselling resources available to deal with problems stemming from the stresses and strains of everyday living.
Since its inception, it has experienced rapid growth and now extends services to North York and West Toronto. Clients have reported that they have benefited immensely from the Centre’s counselling approach which integrates both Eastern and Western treatment philosophies.
Program details are available on the home page.
Owing to demand, we are now also offering both telephone and internet-based counselling for anger management and other programs.
